Paddy has been adopted!

Paddy w/CCT (CCFRCT #1137)
Male
Tuxedo
Black/White

Paddy is a sweetheart who loves people! He is super friendly and really confident.   He is playful and really wants to be friends, but he is very high energy.

Paddy was living life on the streets as a young neighborhood cat when a kind neighbor took him in and got him neutered under the "feral freedom" program (that is why his ear has been clipped a bit).   The family decided to see if Paddy liked to be inside with them.  He did, but they had a dog.  And he did not like that.  It created a big problem that was insurmountable.

But, staying an outside cat in his neighborhood was likely to result in him ending up coyote food, so the neighborhood reached out to us and we took him in.  He is very self-assured and affectionate with people. But he is not a good companion to other animals.

Paddy was placed with a foster during the shelter-in-place who had experience with "quirky cats".  He provided entertainment and companionship while they were restricted to their home; they provided him with love and attention and us with insight to his needs.

Paddy needs to be an "only child" in his forever home.  No cats, no, dogs and no young children. His foster home has a15 year old daughter who is his personal slave and they are both very happy.  The families "non-Covid-19" lifestyle precludes having pets or they would keep him.  He would do best from someone who is home most of the time:  work-from-home or retired.   He is a gem, but he does need the right situation to thrive.

So, if you've been looking for an adorable, friendly little buddy  who will fill your life with purrs and head rubs - and you fit his needs - Paddy may be your guy!
